About myHappymind.
myHappymind is an award winning program for schools & nurseries, families and organisations.
It teaches preventative habits that support positive mental health, resilience and self esteem.
All of the concepts taught are based on science and research and grounded in neuroscience and positive psychology.
Our program is delivered via an innovative technology platform making learning easy, convenient and fun. We're proud to be commissioned by the NHS up and down the U.K. due to the incredible impact the program has on reducing CAMHS referrals along with the overall improvements to the wellbeing of children, staff and parents.
The myHappymind curriculum is grounded in scientific research and helps children to:

"Our Passion, Their Future"
The Children
At KSPG we ensure that all the children are nurtured to inspire confidence, we ensure that they are encouraged to learn resilience and together we all promote friendships. We believe that it is important that children feel listened to and valued and that they are given all opportunities to foster their imagination and creativity.
Our Learning Environment
At KSPG, our rich learning environment has been specially designed to be stimulating and fun as well as calm and engaging. We promote several of Elizabeth Jarmen’s ideas of “communication friendly spaces,” by creating little semi-enclosed areas that will promote conversation. We have also created a natural environment wherever possible, modelling the ideas of the Reggio Emilia approach to early years education. We believe that creating the best learning environment possible is key in nurturing happy, successful children.
Our Vision
Positive, caring relationships based on trust and respect, are at the heart of what we do and are the foundations of our ethos above.
We have a clear vision of what we want to achieve at Kings Stanley Playgroup:
Kings Stanley Playgroup: a place to learn, develop and flourish
We are a Registered Charity!
Kings Stanley Playgroup is a registered charity. This means that we are non-profit organisation. The playgroup is ran by a committee of volunteers (trustees of the charity). The committee must legally contain a Chair, Secretary, Treasurer and at least two general members (but no more than nine) - 40% of these must be made up of current parents of the playgroup. Internally, the playgroup is managed by a very experienced early years manager.
Fees and funding are required for the day to day costs, however for anything extra, the playgroup must actively fundraise (see our fundraising page for what we're up to this school year!) We have just finished our amazing Sensory Garden and are now brainstorming for our next project!
