Vicki - Level 5 Practitioner, Manager, SENDCo & Designated Safeguarding coordinator

Hi, my name is Vicki, I live in Quedgeley with my husband. Two of my children still live at home, while my eldest has moved into his own house. I also have an English Springer Spaniel who we love going on long walks with, especially when down in Cornwall.

 

I have a L5 Foundation Degree in Early Years, alongside a L4 in Early Years Management and a L3 SENCO. My previous roles have been Manager of a local Early Years, where I have been for the last 10 ½ years, before that I was Manager at another play group for. I have worked in Child Care for the last 24 years, before that I worked at Cheltenham General Hospital on Battledown Children’s ward, and in the Special Care Baby Unit.

 

I am passionate about ensuring every child enjoys their time learning and developing through meaningful play experiences to reach their full potential and I strive to enable them to develop a love of lifelong learning.

My Name is Vicky. I live in Bussage with my husband and three children.

 

I have an NNEB qualification which I gained in 1999 at The Norland College. I have many years of experience working in early years, as a nanny, in nurseries and my previous post as a Play leader in a local playgroup.

 

I am very passionate about the well-being of the children and really enjoy working in the early years. I feel privileged to be caring for your children, seeing them grow and develop.

 

 

I am looking forward to getting to know everyone and becoming part of such a dedicated team.


Rachel - Level 3 Practitioner & Deputy SENDCo. Key Person for Yellow Group

 

Hi, my name is Rachel and I moved to Stonehouse this year, alongside starting my

journey with King's Stanley Playgroup. My son attends a local school, and we enjoy

exploring the local area and camping holidays as much as possible. 

 

I have worked within Early Years for nearly 3 years and recently qualified as a level 3

practitioner. I am very passionate about the well-being of children, and ensuring they

gain the best possible start in life. I feel very privileged to join a dedicated team and

look forward to meeting everyone.


Josie - Level 3 Practitioner. Key Person for Green Group

I have lived in the Stanley’s all my life and attended both King’s Stanley Playgroup and King’s Stanley Primary School.


I have recently finished my 3 year college course in Childcare and Education, through this I did placements in King's Stanley School's reception class and Leonard Stanley Early Years both of which I thoroughly enjoyed.


I have also completed a Paediatric First Aid course and I am currently learning British Sign Language.



Learning Support Worker - Karen. Joint Key Person for Red group

Hello, My name is Karen and I am a new member of Kings Stanley Play Group. I have 4 children, 2 big ones and 2 little ones and I am also a Nana.

We have lots of animals, including 3 baby chicks called Stormzy, Princess Charlotte and Sir Chirpchill.

When we're not at the beach collecting shells and pebbles we like to go fossil hunting.

My favourite food is sandwiches and I can eat them all day long.

My favourite animal is a giraffe and my favourite colour is orange.

Hello, my name is Maisy. 

I have always has a passion to work with children, ever since I did my childcare GCSE in school.

 

I have previously completed work experience in other nursery settings, which I thoroughly enjoyed, therefore I'm very excited to start my journey here at Kings Stanley Play Group.

 

I look forward to meeting everyone and watching every child flourish within the setting.
