We are delighted to introduce Vicki, our playgroup manager, with a wealth of experience.

Vicki joined KSPG in September 2022 and since joining she has transformed the Playgroup which is now thriving. We are proud to say our recent Ofsted inspection was registered as GOOD.

May 2024

Well, what can I say? I have now been at KSPG for 1 year 8 months, and I am loving every minute. I am so fortunate to have a fantastic hard working staff team and we all share the same vision. We believe our children and families have the right to:

  • Feel valued as an individual.
  • Be happy, healthy, enthusiastic, and confident with high self-esteem and self-worth.
  • Be independent, curious, creative, and resilient learners.
  • Be courageous and take risks, challenging themselves and each other.
  • Know they have a voice, feel heard and that they can make a difference.
  • Be able to identify and communicate their own needs and feelings.
  • Be empowered to meet their own needs.
  • Respect themselves, each other, their communities, and environment.
  • Feel safe and secure and have a sense of belonging.
  • Establish effective and supportive relationships and be able to work collaboratively.
  • Be lifelong learners with a love of learning.
  • Have high aspirations, build on their previous best and excel in whatever they choose to do.

Over this time our client numbers have increased greatly, and we are so honoured that KSPG is chosen to care for your child.

The staff and children have taken part in lots of different fundraising activities, such as sponsored events, Rags 2 Riches, and Dress up days. With money raised through these events, we have been able to purchase new resources to support and enhance children’s play ideas. A few of the recent items include, a new Mud Kitchen, an outdoor woodwork bench, an outdoor painting easel, inclusive dolls, new storage units to enable ease of access for the children to choose what they want to play with, and some hand puppets. And I am please to say, the children are loving exploring and playing with these new resources.

Our Curriculum has grown to reflect children’s interests and ideas. In addition, we complete Phase one Phonic activities, which will support children when entering school. We complete Maths Champion activities, with the aim of igniting a love of maths. We also complete activities through the My Happy Mind, this is based around helping children to understand how their brain works and to support them in developing positive skills and habits to be their very best selves!
